Quranic Culture

Quranic Culture is the implementation of manners, ethics, culture, morals and ways of life that are based on the rules and laws derived from the Qur'an. All of our activities below are based on Quranic Culture as the fundamental principles and values.

Quranic School of Agriculture

A very simple non-formal and non-commercial educational facility in continuing the legacy and regeneration of farmers as agricultural, plantation and livestock producers who run all forms of activities based on the principles and values guided by the Qur'an and Sunnah to develop halal and thoyyib food sources and to nurture the function and role of humans as the khalifah who becomes God's blessings and mercies for the universe. “This program is devoted to the younger generation, especially the orphans, the needy and school dropouts.”

Sunnatullah Agriculture

It is a development of a sunnatullah-based community agroforestry area that implements a system and or activity mechanism of sustainable integration between agriculture, plantations and livestock based on the laws and manners of the natural balance of the ecosystem as defined in the Qur'an and Sunnah. This activity combines ecological wisdom with spiritual values to create a food production system that is environmentally friendly, sustainable, and beneficial to society while maintaining balance and justice for the entire earth's ecosystem.

Quranic School of Agriculture in Sunnatullah-Based Farming

Ground Rules

In the Qur'an, when addressing the types of food that should be consumed, the Qur'an always emphasizes two characteristics, namely halal and thayyib. In fact, there are several verses that emphasize these two characteristics, such as:

Surah Al-Baqarah verse 168

"O mankind, eat from whatever is on earth [that is] lawful and good and do not follow the footsteps of Satan. Indeed, he is to you a clear enemy."

Surah Al-Maidah verse 88

"And eat of what Allāh has provided for you [which is] lawful and good. And fear Allāh, in whom you are believers."

Surah An-Nahl verse 114

"Then eat of what Allāh has provided for you [which is] lawful and good. And be grateful for the favor of Allāh, if it is [indeed] Him that you worship."

The terms and conditions of halalan and thoyyiban in our food sources indicate that the food that should be consumed by humankind must meet the requirements of both. There is no such thing as halal if it is not good (thoyyib), on the other hand, there is no such thing as good (thoyyib) if it is obtained from something that is not halal, so halal and thoyyib are two multiparallel characteristics that cannot be separated from one another.
